Daridel is a pagan folk band from Northern Italy.
We are a band of five musicians from Ferrara (Northern Italy), performing sounds and songs from Celtic, tribal, and Northern European musical traditions.
We bring to life the ancient European spirit through the sound of bagpipes and powerful drums. But not only that: on stage, we also use flutes and harps, hurdy-gurdies, and didgeridoos – until the audience explodes with emotion!
In addition to performing music, we also create our own stage costumes, and many of our instruments are handcrafted by us. This all helps us offer a truly immersive and complete experience.
We take people on wild dances and primal chants, filling the nights with energy and excitement!
Different instruments intertwine, creating unique sounds – tribal rhythms blend with sweet melodies, leading the listener into timeless trance.
Flutes and harps whisper tales of fairies and dwarfs, while the powerful bagpipes echo through the night, accompanied by the voices of chasers. Enormous drums awaken spirits to dance, bones knock, the forest breathes, and horns ring like the wild song of nature.
It is the eternal cycle of death and rebirth – sweet and furious, harmony and chaos, united in an ancient song of life.
A journey through forgotten ancient instruments, through the mystical centuries of pagan Europe. Tribal music shaped by medieval echoes and the power of Celtic heritage awakens in us what is wildest, what is truest.
