Fabio Zaganelli is an Italian professional entertainer, juggler, comedian and street artist whose performances combine circus arts, comedy, clowning and active audience participation.

He began his professional career in 1995 at Mirabilandia, one of Italy’s best-known amusement parks, where he worked as a juggler, jester and comedian. He later continued his training at Circus Space, a circus school in London.

Zaganelli describes himself as self-taught and as a saltimbanco — a travelling performer and acrobat who carries on the lively and immediate tradition of street art. His skills include juggling, clowning, balance arts, unicycling, acting and acrobatics.

Fabio Zaganelli’s performance is entitled “Lost in the Middle Ages”, in which he embodies an unpredictable, playful and engaging court jester. His stage presence creates a humorous and vivid world for the audience, where circus, theatre and improvisation come together in one complete performance.

As a travelling artist, Fabio Zaganelli has lived and performed in many parts of the world, including Spain, India, Thailand, Australia and Jordan. His diverse experience of different cultures gives his performances an international dimension and a direct, vibrant energy.

In addition to performing, Zaganelli has written an autobiographical book about his travels and life experiences, and has appeared with it on several Italian television and radio programmes. Fabio Zaganelli proves that street art can be masterful, witty, immediate and capable of bringing together audiences of all ages.
